Vajrasattva — the Bodhisattva of purification in Tibetan Buddhism — is one of the most revered figures in Himalayan spiritual tradition. Associated with the clearing of karmic obstacles, the healing of the mind, and the restoration of spiritual vows, Vajrasattva is a fitting deity for a singing bowl. Sound, in many Himalayan traditions, is itself considered a purifying force.

Hand-carved by Newar artisans in Nepal, the exterior depicts Vajrasattva with fine detail — the deity's form surrounded by traditional lotus, vajra, and cloud motifs drawn from thangka painting conventions. The carving is deep and precise, the kind of work that takes experienced hands hours to complete.

Acoustically, this bowl performs at the highest level in our collection.
